BLIA is a faith-based organization of monastic and lay Buddhists, and an NGO under the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. Our organization works to spread awareness, equality and faith through education. We provide international humanitarian aid, and emphasize long term assistance, especially education and basic health services for women and children.

BLIA is headquartered in Hacienda Heights, California, and has branches throughout the world serving their local communities.
